Coventry Building Society members raise thousands for Ukraine 

As war continues to devastate Ukraine, Coventry Building Society members from across the UK have shown extraordinary generosity donating over £15,000 in cash donations through their local branches to help the people of Ukraine.

The Society has been working hard to create ways for its two million members to easily donate money and essential items after news broke of the Russian invasion on Ukraine.   

The mutual organisation, built on the principle that people should help each other, immediately donated £5,000 to the Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC) to help those fleeing the conflict, and set aside a further £50,000 to help refugees in the UK, primarily in its home city of Coventry.
