Coventry Building Society's run club at Altra's 13 Valleys Ultra Promotion

 

1.      About us. Hi! We’re Coventry Building Society with offices at Coventry House, Harry Weston Road, Binley, Coventry, West Midlands CV3 2TQ (including any affiliates or group entities). We are authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority, with reference number 150892. We are the promoter of the Promotion and will be referred to as we, us and our under these Terms.

2.      About the Agent.The data captured at entry will be provided to us by our agent, Amondo Ltd., whose company number is 09043853 and with registered offices at 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE (Agent).

3.      About these Terms. These terms and conditions (the Terms) govern our promotion to give away 25 places in Coventry Building Society’s run club on Saturday 27 September 2025 (the Promotion). By entering this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any applicable rules and guidelines.

4.      Updates. We may update these Terms from time to time, however we’ll aim to make you aware of any significant changes in advance. If you continue with an entry under this Promotion, you agree to any updated Terms. 

5.      The Prize. You have the chance to win one of 25 places in Coventry Building Society’s run club at Altra’s 13 Valleys Ultra on Saturday 27 September 2025. The prize will include the entry cost of the event (which will either be reimbursed to you by The Great Run Company Limited if you’ve paid already, or be free if you’ve not yet registered, up to the value of £65), travel expenses (up to the value of £100) and an exclusive race top worth up to £75 (the Prize). The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable. There is no cash or product alternative for the Prize.

6.      Eligibility. This Promotion is open to UK residents who are 50 years old or over at the time of entry. You are not required to hold a savings or mortgage account with us. This Promotion is not open to:

●      the employees or contractors, their immediate families or agents, of either us or the Agent,

●      anyone directly connected with the Promotion or Prize Draw, or

●      any third party Prize Providers or their employees or immediate families.

7.      Promotion Period. The Promotion begins and ends (the Promotion Period), as set out in the table below:

8.      Prize Draws. Potential participants of the Altra 13 Valleys Ultra that takes place on Saturday 27 September will receive a communication from Great Adventure Series (Prize Draw Communication) with a link to a webpage that provides details about the Promotion and includes the Agent’s data capture form (the Promotion Platform) at the start of the Promotion Period. After the Promotion Period ends, there will be one prize draw (Prize Draw) and 25 participants will win the Prize (the Winners).

9.      How to enter. Only one entry per eligible participant is allowed for the Promotion. To enter the Promotion, you must click through the link in the Prize Draw Communication, that will take you to https://www.amo.mn/coventry-building-society-13-valleys-ultra (the “Entry Link”) and enter your details, (name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, the distance you’re planning to run and if you’re already signed up) so we're able to contact you if you're a Winner. To submit your entry, you must complete the entire form and select all the relevant tick boxes (Entry or Entries). 

Only one Entry per person is allowed for this Promotion. Multiple Entries will be removed so that only the first Entry is entered into the Promotion. Only an Entry made correctly in line with eligibility criteria and during the Promotion Period will be eligible to win the Prize (Valid Entries and each a Valid Entry). 

10.      Selecting the Winners. The Winners will be randomly selected from all Valid Entries within 5 working days (i.e. excluding bank holidays, Saturday and Sunday) from the end of the Promotion. We will privately notify the Winners via the email address provided within the Entry Link (Notification Email), that they are the Winners within 5 working days of being selected.

11.      Conditions for Accepting the Prize. The Winners will be informed in the Notification Email of the following conditions that they must comply with in order to accept the Prize:

11.1.    Winners must be in attendance at the Altra 13 Valleys Ultra on Saturday 27 September;

11.2.    Winners must attend our tent at the Altra 13 Valleys Ultra which will be located in the Event Village;

11.3.    Winners must agree to take part in photography and videography at the Altra 13 Valleys Ultra; and

11.4.    Winners must agree that any advertising or posts made by the Winner on their personal or business social media or online accounts in relation to this Promotion are made with any oversight or partnership with us. 

12.      Accepting the Prize. The Winners will have 24 hours from our Notification Email to reply to us to accept the Prize and to confirm their eligibility for the Promotion. Once accepted, we will provide the Winners further details about their Prize (including details of the event itself). If we don’t receive an acceptance from a Winner within the 24 hour period or a Winner rejects the Prize, the Prize may be redrawn from the remaining Valid Entries. These same Terms will apply to an alternative Winner. 

13.      Our rights. We have the right at any time and for any reason to:

●       change the Prize or offer an alternative prize of equal or higher value,

●       refuse or disqualify any entries, and

●       cancel, suspend or change the Promotion.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion should viruses, bugs, tampering, fraud or other causes beyond our reasonable controls corrupt or hinder the administration, security or proper play of the Promotion.

14.      What’s excluded from Prizes. Other expenses you may incur in collecting the Prize are not included as part of the Prize. We will not be required to reimburse the Winners for their own costs in the event the Prize is postponed to an alternative date.

15.      Announcing the Winners. We will not publicly announce the Winners’ acceptance of the Prize, but we may share this information if we are legally obligated to do so. 16.      Restrictions for the Winners. The Winners cannot sell, pass on or donate the Prize to anyone else under any circumstances. 

17.      Decisions are final. Our decision on any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding.

18.      How we use personal data.

18.1.    In order to collect all Entries, the Agent will hold your personal information in accordance with these Terms, and their privacy policy (available here: https://www.amondo.com/privacy-cookie-policy), and shall implement and maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures in compliance with the UK GDPR and any other applicable law.

18.2   The Agent will share your personal information with us and we use the personal data of participants and the Winners in order to provide this Promotion. Additionally, we may use personal data of the Winners to feature them as a winner in our marketing activities.

19.      Disclaimer. We are not responsible for any network, computer or software failures of any kind, or any lost, delayed or misdirected participant entries. You must take your own precautions (such as guarding against software viruses) to protect against loss or damage. We will also not be responsible for any infringement of a third party’s intellectual property rights caused by your entry into this Promotion.

20.      Our liability. We will not be liable for any losses (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expenses or damage you or a third party suffers that are connected to this Promotion or by the acceptance or use of any Prize. This includes losses due to a delay or failure in performing an obligation to the Winners or other participants which is caused by:

●       technical problems that may limit or prevent a person's participation in the Promotion, or acceptance of their Prize,

●       any inaccuracy or mistake in the personal data (including, but not limited to, email addresses) provided to us as part of the Entry process,

●       any problems experienced by the Winners in accepting their Prize at the provided email address (this includes, but is not limited to, problems in accessing their email address, their email address being no longer active/in use, emails going into the ‘Spam/Junk’ folder, or emails being blocked or restricted by any email provider),

●       any act or omission of any third party (such as those involved in providing services that may be relevant to the Prize), or

●       any event beyond our control.

However, we do not exclude our liability for death, personal injury or any other liability which can’t be excluded by law.

21.      Invalidity. If any of part of these Terms are held to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will continue to apply. 

22.      Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any disputes, contractual or non-contractual, relating to these Terms.
