“Providing great service to our members’ drives everything we do. As the Bank of England continued to raise interest rates last year, many more of our savings members wanted to talk to us, which stretched our ability to answer telephone calls quickly, in response, the whole business pulled together to make call answering our priority.

Meanwhile, our contact centre and branches were proactive in reaching out to people who might be affected by the cost-of-living crisis. It is initiatives such as these that demonstrate the great people we have at the Society and I’m proud that we’ve been recognised as one of the best large organisations in the UK by the “Great Place to Work” programme.”
