We're proud to support The Royal British Legion

Since 2008, we've donated £13.9 million for The Royal British Legion. We're proud to help provide support to serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans and their families.

Poppy accounts

Since 2008 we’ve donated over £13.8 million to The Royal British Legion - this amount is based on how much our members save in their Poppy accounts.

Our employees have volunteered their time to work with the Legion selling poppies and planting crosses and ceramic poppies in the Fields of Remembrance and the Tower of London.

Whether it's climbing Cotopaxi, or wading through a 5km muddy assault course, our staff and members have pushed themselves to raise over £140,000 through their fundraising.

could fund

a team of 6 Admiral Nurses for a year, each team providing dementia support to families.

Pedal to Paris

Each year since 2014, a team has completed a four day bike ride from London to Paris, culminating in a moving memorial service at the Arc de Triomphe.

could provide
mobility scooters for 30 isolated beneficiaries, helping them become part of their local community again.

London Marathon

Two staff members completed this prestigious event in 2016, raising  over £4,500.

Poppy planting

''This time of year has always been extremely important to me and I have spent many Armistice Days at services and parades to commemorate both the fallen and injured friends. I have seen the difference The Royal British Legion makes first hand, and to still be able to play a small part in this occasion means a lot to me.''

Martin Lewis joined the Society after 24 years in the Armed Forces, and was one of 120 staff volunteers to support the Poppy Appeal directly in 2016.
