The streets are quieter this year. In lockdown, our Poppy Appeal collectors can’t be out on the streets and need your help to support the Poppy Appeal. When you take out a Poppy account, we commit to donating even more money to our charity partner, The Royal British Legion, to support the vital and life-changing work they do.
The effects of coronavirus are affecting The Armed Forces community in many ways, including homelessness and hardship. We’re honoured to be by their side as we fight this invisible war together.
Since 2008, we’ve been proud partners of The Royal British Legion.
Our Poppy Appeal collectors, like our local friend Derrick, need to stay at home this year to be safe. So it’s our turn to spread the word and make sure that nobody forgets the importance of supporting the Poppy Appeal. There are new ways (including virtual) to donate. The Armed Forces community past and present need our support.

We know it’s been a difficult year for savers. The Bank of England Base Rate is at an all-time low, and while many of our variable accounts don’t track base rate, it still has an effect on how much we can pay our members.
This means we’ve had to make some really tough decisions about reducing the interest rates we pay.
