If you need support managing your accounts with us, there are several options depending on your situation. Here are some ideas:

Can’t get to a branch? Call us or use Online Services

Depending on the terms of your account, you could use Telephone Services and/or Online Services. You may also be able to set up Direct Debits and standing orders – this means you don’t need to make regular phone calls or visits to a branch.

Arrange for someone you trust to make a transaction in an emergency or as a one-off

Fill in our third party withdrawal form. This allows someone you trust to make a one-off withdrawal in a branch – they can take out cash, request a cheque or transfer to another Coventry account.

Arrange for someone to withdraw cash or help you pay your bills for a short while

We’ve designed an account for when you need some help managing your everyday money. This will allow someone you trust to access all of the money in this account as a short-term solution.

Arrange for someone to help you manage your finances long-term

For this, you’ll need to set up a ‘power of attorney’. This gives someone you trust the authority to make decisions on your behalf, even if you become unable to make decisions yourself.
