How can I manage higher costs?

Budgeting

Budgeting is simply making a list of what you earn, what you owe, and what you spend.  Having those numbers in front of you will help you understand exactly how tight your finances are — and whether there are some costs you could cut for the time being.

Beware of fraudsters

Now is the perfect time for scammers to impersonate businesses and local councils. With energy companies contacting you more about the cost of living, scammers may chance their luck. Pretending to offer fake energy rebates or giveaways, and creating hoax ads with celebrity endorsements are just a few examples of scams.
