Product transfers

Why a product transfer could benefit both you and your clients

In line with our pledges, we allow existing customers to change to any of our new business products at any time (ERCs may still apply).

  • It’s simple to transfer; you can now call us for customer authority, information and to request an illustration
  • Transferring keeps the costs down – there are no legal costs or valuation fees. Many of our products are also fee free
  • No underwriting for like-for-like product transfers
  • You can recommend any of the mortgages we have available* – we don’t have special deals for new customers
  • We pay proc fees of 0.30% on all product transfers.

Its simple to apply

1 Talk to your client to get permission to speak to us about their mortgage

You can confirm that you have customer permission over the phone or by completing the customer authority form.

2 Call us on 0800 121 7788

Option 4 for account information or to request an illustration and application pack.

3 Return the illustration Special Conditions page signed by the client(s)

You will need to get the applicants to sign the Product Special Conditions (which are a part of the application pack). Please email the signed and scanned document using send secure to intermediaries@thecoventry.co.uk.

4 Submit your paperwork by 23rd of the month if you need the transfer to complete on 1st of the following month.

We will email you to confirm receipt and that the product transfer will go ahead at the chosen date.
