What else has changed?

Although Coventry Building Society has had overall management of all the Stroud & Swindon accounts since the merger in September 2010, we have now taken over the day to day processing of your accounts. Please be reassured that the high level of service you have come to expect from Stroud & Swindon will continue.

Stroud & Swindon branches have already been refurbished and are able to offer you the wide range of Coventry savings, mortgage and insurance services as well as deal with any questions you have on your existing accounts.

You'll get the option of using Coventry's Online Services and access to extended call centre hours (8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm) and they'll be a telephone self-service option 24 hours a day.

What if I don't like these changes?

We hope we can discuss the changes to understand what it is that you don't like. The aim is simply to align processes across the Society and we have tried to ensure customers are not effected negatively by the changes.

If you have anything you wish to talk to us about please call us, email us or visit one of our branches.

Coventry is a very traditional building society, committed to remaining an independent mutual organisation and has an excellent reputation for customer service and treating customers fairly. The integration brings more choice of services (e.g. online banking, longer hours, more branches) and competitive products.

So, if you're a saver and you're still not happy, you are entitled to up to 60 days from receipt of your terms and conditions letter to close your account or transfer to another account at the Coventry (subject to the terms and conditions of that account) without notice or charge.

As a mortgage customer you can repay your mortgage at any time, but please bear in mind that early repayment charges may apply.
