- Clear and simple language
- Skip links
- The ability to tab through content without the use of a mouse
- Alternative text on images so that if you can't see the image, you know what it means

- A consistent page structure

As part of our on-going branch refurbishment programme, we have, wherever possible, done the following:
- Fitted automatic or power-assisted doors
- Removed steps and replaced them with ramps
- Improved the layout within the branches to allow space for manoeuvring wheelchairs
- Introduced more meeting areas to provide suitable private areas for all our customers to discuss their finances
