Reset password online

If you have forgotten your password, don't worry, a new one can easily be set up online.

Please note, attempting to reset your password online will cancel any previous requests made for a postal reset letter. If you've already received a postal reset letter and wanted to set-up your new password now, you'll need to use the temporary password included in your letter here.

To reset your password online you must have:

  • Logged in for the first time and have selected an image
  • Have a valid email address registered with us
  • Set up your security questions and provided answers
  • Have your Web ID to hand
  • Have your Grid Card available

Alternatively if you don't have one or more of the items listed above, you can reset your password via the post (this may take up to 4 working days).

If you've forgotten your Web ID and password, you are not able to reset your password online and will need to reset it by post. If you would like to do this please select 'Reset by post' below.

Once you have reset your password you will be able to retrieve your Web ID online.

Register for Online Services

You must be aged 16 or over to register for Online Services and if you have joint accounts, each account holder will need to register separately.

Please make sure you have a Coventry account number and your password handy.
