Before we can give you information about a customer’s mortgage account you’ll need their permission to conduct business on their behalf. You can either call us, or complete and return an authority form.
If you’re a registered broker on our panel you can call us.
If you want to request authority by email, or you are an administrator, please complete a customer authority and mortgage information request form and return it to us via secure email Opens new website in another window at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Remember - we can only provide you with certain information relating to your client’s mortgage account, such as their current balance, the indexed valuation figure, amount of ERCs (if applicable) and the date the ERC period ends. We’ll write to your client after we’ve spoken to you to let them know that we’ve given you information about their mortgage account.
Important: Before starting this process you will need to talk to your client(s) to gain their consent to act on their behalf as information about a customer’s existing mortgage account is confidential. In order for us to comply with Data Protection Regulation, we will take your submission of the relevant customer authority form as your confirmation that you have the freely given and informed consent of the customer(s) to release this information to you.
Once granted, your authority to act on their behalf will last for this transaction or for 12 months, whichever is sooner.
