Changes for Landlords

Changes that benefit your BTL clients

We’ve increased the number of BTL mortgages allowed with the CBS Group from 3 to 5 per household, a change designed to help your clients increase or consolidate their portfolio with us.

And we’ve introduced a new product range specifically for portfolio landlords with four or more mortgaged BTL properties.

Portfolio landlord policy

We’ve also:

Increased the aggregate loan limit on all rental properties mortgaged to us to £2 million

Increased the maximum loan amount at 50-75% LTV to £750k

Increased the income threshold to less than £49,000 to qualify for 125% ICR*

Full BTL lending policy

*On a reference rate of up to 5.5%, based on the chosen product. The change applies to residents in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. For residents in Scotland, the threshold remains at £42,500.
