Temporary self-employed changes

Due to the impact of Coronavirus, on 29 April 2020 we temporarily changed the way we underwrite residential self-employed cases. Please remember that:.

• We will only accept applications from businesses that continue to actively trade and have been for at least 3 months
• Each case will be individually assessed by our underwriting team, which means that AIPs for your self-employed clients may take a little longer
• We may ask you to provide some further information, for example, three months’ business banking statements.

Any applications you submitted before 29 April 2020 will be assessed under our current self-employed policy.
