  • The minimum balance is £1
  • The maximum balance is £250,000.
Can I withdraw money?

This is an instant access account so you can take money out at any time.

How to withdraw

  • Request cash or cheques at any branch
  • Request a cheque by post
  • Request a transfer or regular payments to another Coventry Building Society account or an account with another UK bank or building society.
  • Take money out anytime with your cash card at any cash machine displaying the LINK, Visa or PLUS symbol (over 16 only)
  • Set up a Direct Debit.
Additional information
We pay your interest gross . The gross rate is the interest payable before the deduction of tax.

Overdrafts are not allowed on this MoneyManager account. 

*AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and illustrates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and added each year.

You can choose to have a passbook:
If you opt for a passbook, we'll update it as a record of your transactions. You can ask us for a paper statement anytime. If you're aged 16 or over, you can apply for a cash card.

If you don't have a passbook:
We'll send you a statement every quarter. We'll also send you a cash card shortly after we open your account.

If you change your mind
If you open a MoneyManager account and then change your mind, you can close it anytime. To close the account, ask us at any branch, call us on 0800 121 8899 or write to us at: Head Office, Economic House, PO Box 9, High Street, Coventry, CV1 5QN
