Coventry Building Society - Your Society - Charity of the Year 2008, Macmillan Cancer Support

Coventry Building Society worked with Macmillan Cancer Support throughout 2008 to raise awareness and funds for the charity. Our people and members selected Macmillan Cancer Support as our charity of the year and unsurprisingly were passionate about raising funds. Over 350 staff got involved, setting up coffee mornings, cake sales, Green Weeks amongst other things, and taking part in an epic sponsored bike ride from Land's End to John O'Groats. Overall in excess of £50,000 has been raised so far.
