Jimmy Hill Tribute Appeal

Coventry City Football Club, its Supporters Groups and Coventry City Council have launched an appeal to recognise Jimmy Hill's immense lifetime service to football.

Jimmy's contribution to football and to Coventry has been colossal, his career has seen him take on virtually every role in the game having been a player, union representative, coach, manager, chairman, commentator, presenter, analyst and TV executive. He was responsible for many of the innovations that have shaped today's game.

Coventry Building Society is pleased to support the appeal which aims to raise £150,000 to commission and install a life sized statue of Jimmy at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
