Telephone security

  • Your Telephone PIN is specific to you. Joint account holders each have their own Telephone PIN.
  • Never write down or tell anyone your Telephone PIN or your Coventry password.
  • If someone else knows your Telephone PIN or Coventry password, let us know immediately.
  • Never provide your Telephone PIN or whole Coventry password to anyone. Our advisors will never ask for your Telephone PIN or whole password.
  • Be aware of your surroundings, if someone can hear you then always use your keypad to key in your details.

Telephone service launched

Managing your money at the Coventry is easy. Our Customer Service Centre is open seven days a week, and our advisors are available Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.

However, we know there are occasions when you simply want to check your balance, find out your interest rate or carry out simple transactions on your account at a time that suits you.

We have now launched our 24 hour self-service option, which means that you can call us anytime, 365 days a year.

So that you can use this new service securely, you'll need to use your Telephone PIN. The first time you phone us, you will be asked to change your PIN to a number of your choice.

If you don't already have a Telephone PIN and would like to use our new telephone services, just give us a call and we will be happy to arrange this for you.
