In all roles, you'll need to be outgoing, enthusiastic and prepared to make a difference! You'll also need to be comfortable hitting often-demanding sales targets, working effectively as part of a team, and as an individual, to achieve them. In return, we'll provide you with excellent rewards and benefits, training and development, and the opportunity for a great career with the Society.
Customer Service Assistant

Customer Service Co-ordinator
In your role on the front desk, you'll be the friendly and helpful first point of contact for many of our customers and by talking to new and existing customers, you'll identify sales opportunities for the branch. You'll also manage the appointment system for customer meetings with branch advisors.

In these roles, you'll be meeting customers to discuss their requirements and provide information about relevant products. Whilst developing your sales and communication skills, you'll be studying towards either the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) or the Customer Service Professional qualification (CSP) (savings and protection).

Assistant Customer Service Manager

As well as being able to carry out the customer service assistant role, you should be interested in supporting others in their learning and be willing to travel (a car is provided).
Financial Services Trainee
This is an exciting opportunity for young people, who are about to, or have just left school or college having taken A levels preferably at least one in a business related subject to join a training programme within our Branch Network. It's a great way to kick start your career in financial services, allowing you to earn as you learn (avoiding those student debts!) while training initially as a customer service assistant, you'll be expected to study towards our Customer Service Professional qualifications (CSP) to prepare you for future advisory work.

Already holding the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), you'll be giving advice to customers about our range of products.
We also have Trainee Sales Advisor roles, where in the first instance you'll be talking to customers, providing them with product information and generating sales. At the same time you'll be trained towards the fully qualified Sales Advisor role, and we'll help you to develop your sales and communication skills, and study towards the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) qualification.
