Our recruitment process is as easy as 1 2 3 Our recruitment process is as easy as 1 2 3

Step 1 - Application

Start by finding a vacancy you like the look of and have the relevant skills and experience for, and send us a completed application form.

Step 2 - Interview

If we think you've got what it takes, we will contact you to interview you in person or over the phone.

This is your opportunity to impress us - and of course ask any questions.

We'll also require all candidates to bring proof of eligibility to work in the UK (i.e. valid passport) either at the interview or the assessment centre - so please try not to forget them.

Interview tips

  • Be prepared - find out about the Coventry and the vacancy you're interested in
  • Arrive in plenty of time - never arrive late for an interview, it doesn't send a good message
  • Sell yourself - tell us about your achievements and how you meet the criteria for the role
  • Listen carefully - make sure that your answers are relevant
  • Ask questions - find out more about the role and the Coventry - it shows you're interested
  • Bring everything you're asked to - make sure you have the correct documentation with you (e.g. current passport or other proof of eligibility to work in the UK)
  • Don't panic! - we understand interviews can be a bit nerve wracking but try not to get too flustered - it'll go a lot better if you try to stay calm

Step 3 - Assessment centre

If we like what we hear in your interview, we'll ask you to come along to an assessment centre. There, we'll get to know you better with a variety of practical exercises produced by Saville and Holdsworth Ltd.

You can view examples of these exercises on their website.

What happens next?

After the assessment centre is completed we'll get in touch and let you know how you got on. Full feedback is available if you ask.

"Coventry prides itself on doing the right thing for our members and when you actually witness this being done by the company, yourself and staff you get a sense of pride working for an organisation with a huge reputation."
